I will be more than happy to upgrade to Studio but only if it supports any GPU functionality on my system. But I believe that hardware supported video decoding during playback could help even with such old GPU. Would the Studio version of DR17 bring any change? And use GPU decoding for playback? Sometimes playback of simple HD 1080p videos is not fluent - often saving and reopening the project can fix this issue. The system (DR17 + Dell M6800 i7) is now exceptionally stable and the only one point it lacks is that it leaves the NVidia K3100M GPU useless. My free version od DR17 recognizes this GPU, only there is no possibility to choose CUDA on preferences tab. I know my GPU is too slow and too old for the newest CUDA rendering, but i think it could handle any decoding/encoding work without any hesitation.

And here comes the question: knowing that rendering with such outdated GPU is not supported, will any GPU hardware playback decoding/encoding be supported if I switch to Resolve Studio?
